Do you have pains you can’t explain, or that have been bothering you for a long time? Your body might be trying to tell you something. Learning to connect the body, mind and spirit are an essential part of a happy life. I’ve seen many cure their pains as well as some not see any improvements just like most people will like this blog and some will think its “whoo hoo, crazy talk”. Life and its experiences are unique to every single one of us and I respect that.

Some people just need a little reminder and they will change things for the better. Some need a proper support system; friends, family and professionals that will push them to make better choices. I imagine if you have gotten this far into reading we are on similar page or your just a little interested in what’s to come here. Really taking in what you read, relating it to your life and brainstorming how you can overcome it harmoniously. Through self-healing like eating well, exercising, meditating, bodywork, yoga, dance, art, music, a retreat are all fantastic options. The list is endless but allowing yourself gentleness and space to be you and grow fully without limitation is important and in fact our goal.

Let’s begin. For the sake of much needed time and as well as space there will be a short description to strike an interest after each body region. You can read both chronic and acute symptoms within the body. Of course the chronic conditions will take more time and patience to overcome because they are deeper and more ingrained in the system.

Pain In Your Head like headaches and migraines, can be caused by the stresses of day to day life. Your headaches may just be the result of taking on too much. Taking time out to relax and to take a load off is important. You can achieve far more when you are less stressed and taking care of your personal needs.

Pain In Your Neck could be an indication of having trouble with forgiveness of others or yourself. You may be judging yourself too harshly. Make a list of all the things you love about yourself and then stand in front of a mirror and say them out loud. If you are feeling guilty about something you’ve done to someone else, it might be time to apologize and clear the air. Loving yourself and finding forgiveness may be the answer.

Pain In Your Shoulders may indicate that you’re carrying a burden. ‘Shouldering a problem’ is all too real and this is exactly what we’re doing when our shoulders tense up and cause pain. This may be the perfect time to let someone else help you. If you are taking on more than your fair share of the burden ask for help from the people around you. You will be surprised how many will want to help you, you don’t need to do it all by yourself.

Pain In Your Upper Back may indicate that you’re coping with lack of emotional support. This would be a great time to reach out to loved ones and strengthen your relationships. Having strong relationships will never end to help harmonize our lives. If you’re single, it might mean it’s time to get back out there. A little bit of love will go a long way.

Pain In Your Lower Back may mean you’re worrying a lot about money, or lacking in emotional support. Similar to the lack of emotional support causing upper back pain, the lack of financial support may be causing your lower back pain. It might be time to ask for that overdue raise at work, to raise your prices and to take a look at your spending habits. Really mapping it out will change the way you look at money.

Pain In Your Elbows has to do with resisting changes in your life. Stiffness in the elbow may mean you are being too stubborn in your daily life. This might be the time to compromise on an argument or try out that cleanse your friends have been suggesting. Beginning to change and compromise harmoniously will be important. Going more with the flow.

Pain In Your Hands could mean that you haven’t been reaching out enough. An inability to connect with others may be causing the pain. Work on making new friends, meet the new neighbors go out with a co-worker instead of alone. Reconnect with the world. We thrive from human interaction and it definitely doesn’t come easily for all of us.

Pain In Your Hips could be a sign that you’re very resistant to changes. The hips may just be telling you that you’re resistant to moving forward or making major decisions. Do those things you always wanted to do, but couldn’t decide on, like writing a book or starting a business. Time to get unstuck and move forward with ease.

Pain In The Knees is usually a sign of a big ego. You may be giving yourself too much credit right now, which quickly can get in the way. Chronic knee pain may be because of an overactive ego. Practice being humble, give complements, not seeking attention and resist the urge to brag.

Pain In Your Calves is likely to be emotional tension of some kind. Jealousy and/or resentment may be causing the emotional tension. Time to let go of old grudges and jealousies. Let it go, it is not worth another second of your time! Move it through and out your body for good. Remember its ok to ask for help or to ask for someone to listen.

Pain In The Ankles might mean that you’re depriving yourself of pleasure. You may be resisting the more pleasurable aspects of life. Have some chocolate, go to the spa or get yourself cooking. Indulge yourself a little more, pleasure may defeat pain! What makes you feel great?

Pain In Your Feet can be a sign of depression. Too much negativity and not enough joy may be causing your chronic foot pain. You need to let go of those negative feelings you are holding onto and this can’t always be done alone. Make sure to surround yourself by beauty, things you love and seek support.
